Nathan Wall joins Enterprise Inns: Nathan Wall, the former JD Wetherspoon and SSP executive, has joined Enterprise Inns as its new divisional director for the Greater London division. Wall reports directly to managing director operations (south) Nick Light, and succeeds Richard Ullman who had held the position since 2007. He joins Enterprise from SSP UK & Ireland Air (The Food Travel Experts) where most recently as managing director he was responsible for the commercial relationship with up to 150 food and drink businesses in 21 airports. Previously, he was head of marketing for JD Wetherspoon between 1999-2003, and then spent four years as their operations director, responsible for over 360 of their businesses. Within Enterprise, Wall will be responsible for achieving profit growth through the leadership of his direct reports and the wider divisional business unit, which includes around 20 members of staff, and approximately 780 pubs throughout Greater London. Wall said: “I am really looking forward to having the opportunity to partner the growth of some of our most entrepreneurial and diverse businesses, and in particular to working with Publicans who are adapting and in many cases leading the development of the market.” Light said: “The Greater London division’s enduring success is driven by the high quality of our pubs, the dedication and talent of our publicans, and the commitment of our operations team to support these businesses. We are delighted to have attracted someone like Nathan who can not only maintain this focus, but also strengthen the team’s sales and marketing skills to help our publicans achieve improved profitability. I am confident Nathan will bring value to not only our London estate, but also to key commercial areas of our wider business.”
