Stonegate acquires 78 Bramwell pubs: Stonegate Pub Company has acquired 78 sites from the administrator of the Bramwell Pub Company. Toby Smith, chief executive of Stonegate said: “We are delighted to have been able to secure a large number of fantastic sites, many of which are located in towns and cities where we are not currently represented and are looking forward to welcoming our new colleagues to the company.” Stonegate is the largest privately held managed pub operator in the UK with revenues in excess of half a billion pounds and employs over 12,000 people. The company has 625 pubs which include the following segments; Classic Inns, Local Pubs, Great Traditional Pubs, Slug and Lettuce, Scream, Yates, Bars & Venues, Missoula and Living Room.
