Novus Leisure launches £50,000 January cash giveaway: Novus Leisure, the London-based late-night bar and restaurant operator, has launched a ground-breaking initiative throughout January, across all Novus Leisure venues, which will see one lucky customer win £50,000 tax free in cash to spend as they wish. The giveaway is being promoted under the strapline, “What would you do with £50,000?” and also through social media under the hashtag #50kWhatWouldYouDo. To be in the running, customers simply enter a unique code from their till receipt, at either win50k.latenightlondon.co.uk or win50k.tigertiger.co.uk. The operator is also offering ten runners-up prizes of £1,000 bar tabs, plus for every five entries made, each customer will receive a 50% off voucher for use in January. In the run-up to the campaign starting, Novus Leisure has been asking its social media followers what they would spend the £50,000 on: @nextofKinMa said: “I’d take my nephew to see his great grandparents for the first time.” @kennycolls said: “I’d fly some family and friends over to see my life in London – as well as placing a down payment on a flat.” Wedding bells were on the cards for @SpiceSugar1 who said: “Spend it all on a big London wedding next May full of jazz, fun and love. It was the lure to assist at an elephant sanctuary in Thailand for @laurenjean23.” @pieman1979 summed up the huge impact it would have on his life, saying: “Easy, I’d make my home #wheelchair #accessible so that @Bxmercedesxb can get back to building a #career.” Toby Smith, chief executive of Novus Leisure, said: “Yes, we do loud. Yes, we do fun. Yes, we do awesome! We know what drives and inspires our customers because they’re at the heart of every decision we make. Our pioneering spirit and sheer scale of our operation, ensures we have an unwavering passion for devising truly ground-breaking initiatives that will change the face of the late night scene as we know it! Good luck to everyone entering.”
