Crussh chief executive to step down: Chris Fung, chief executive of Crussh, the healthy food and juice brand with 25 sites, is stepping down with Shane Kavanagh, who was previously managing director of Benugo, taking over. In an email to colleagues and friends, Fung stated: “Many of you will already know of my news, though there are some I’ve not had a chance to catch up with personally yet. After more than 12 wonderful years at Crussh, the time has come to pass on the baton and stewardship of this fantastic business. At the end of the month, I will be stepping out of the chief executive role and handing over to Shane (Kavanagh), who I am excited to say will be taking over the leadership of the business. In the meantime, I will be taking a good relaxing break to plan the next adventure, and along the way, helping out some like-minded businesses in advisory roles. I’ll also be continuing my involvement with Crussh both as an active shareholder and as the new product and innovation adviser to help Nick (Nathan) on our food and drink development. All the fun of the creativity without having to manage the execution! I’m in the fortunate position and very excited to be able to take the whole summer off properly and to spend some time with the family – we’ll be heading back to Australia and Hong Kong for the summer break to catch up with old friends and family before Theo has to return to school again in September. Before we leave in July, I look forward to catching up with you all over the coming months.”
