Propel undergoes management buy-out: Propel Info has undergone a management buy-out with co-founders Paul and Jo Charity taking 100% ownership of the business. Exiting shareholders earned circa 4x their original investment. Paul Charity said: “We’d like to thank our departing shareholders for their support for the business since it was founded four-and-a-half year ago. The acquisition of their shares by myself and Jo would not have been possible without the amazing dedication of our staff. Propel has a circulation of almost 13,000 readers – circulation has grown organically and on a self-subscribed basis which means readers have opted to receive our news feeds. This makes for industry leading opening rates. Our next target is 20,000 readers, which we will reach in a relatively short period given existing rates of growth. We now have a portfolio of 18 events – and have exciting plans for future development.
