TRG Concessions signs partnership with BrewDog to open bars in UK airports and railway stations: The Restaurant Group (TRG) Concessions has signed an exclusive franchise partnership with Scottish brewer and retailer BrewDog to open bars in UK airports and railway stations. TRG Concessions will be the first British-based partner of BrewDog and both companies will be exploring opportunities with a view to securing their first location in 2018. BrewDog currently has 32 bars in the UK and runs a further 17 franchised operations internationally. TRG, which currently operates a number of pubs and bars in the UK’s largest airports, will be looking to open a number of locations across the UK. The bars will have the “familiar look and feel of BrewDog craft beer bars including a range of BrewDog-brewed beers and rotating guest beers from around the world, alongside an all-day food offer”. BrewDog and TRG will also be developing the first BrewDog breakfast menu, bespoke for UK airports and railway stations. Nick Ayerst, managing director of TRG Concessions, said: “TRG Concessions is very excited to be joining forces with BrewDog and looks forward to partnering it in its mission to spread the word about great beer by bringing its craft beer bars to UK airports and railway stations.”
