Papa John’s to centralise international operations in UK: Papa John’s has announced plans to consolidate its international team in its existing Milton Keynes corporate office as part of a global reorganisation to accelerate long-term growth and innovation. In addition to its two corporate offices in the US – in Atlanta and Louisville – Papa John’s headquarters for its international team in Milton Keynes will centralise all international operations “to better support franchisees and the brand’s growth beyond North America”. Jack Swaysland, Papa John’s chief operating officer – international, said: “This is an exciting and significant announcement for Papa John’s as we capitalise on our growth and transformation over the past year internationally. Pizza remains hugely popular in challenging times as well as the good, and our business is performing strongly, putting Papa John’s in a better position than ever to realise tremendous opportunities for international growth. Consolidating our international talent in one place will help grow our business internationally both where we are already and where there is demand for Papa John’s in new markets. We see many exciting opportunities not just in the world’s high streets but also through innovative new partnerships, such as sports venues, holiday destinations and other locations. By streamlining operations, facilitating greater collaboration in one time zone, and building on our considerable success in the UK, our international headquarters will enable us to support existing and new franchisees even better as we deliver on the very latest trends in food consumption around the globe. I look forward to welcoming the international team to Milton Keynes and continuing Papa John’s great momentum in all parts of the world.” Papa John’s currently plans to complete the consolidation of its international operations by the spring. Papa John’s has more than 450 sites in the UK, and 5,000 stores in more than 40 international markets and territories.
