More than 130 companies now signed up to have unlimited Propel Premium access: More than 130 companies have now paid to ensure their staff have unlimited access to Propel Premium Club, a 30% increase since the start of the year when the service was evolved to offer even more benefits. The service allows unlimited numbers of a company’s staff to access all the videos from Propel conferences – around 100 a year – and receive their news early at 7pm the night before the Propel newsletter goes out to the general readership at 6am the following morning – as well as access to six exclusive databases. All Premium Clubs members are also offered a 20% discount on tickets to Propel paid-for events such as the Talent and Training Conference (1 October), Restaurant Marketer and Innovator (two days in January 2025) and Excellence in Pub Retail (May 2025). Operators that are Premium Club members are also able to send up to four members of staff to each of our four Multi-Club Conferences for free. Premium Club members are sent a dedicated monthly newsletter that will highlight key updates in the sector and direct subscribers to all the vital content their membership offers. Premium Club members also receive exclusive opinion columns every Friday at 5pm, which include the thoughts of Propel group editor Mark Wingett and a host of industry leaders from across the sector. An unlimited Propel Premium subscription costs £995 plus VAT for a whole year. You can sign up by emailing kai.kirkman@propelinfo.com. Propel group editor Mark Wingett said: “The unlimited Premium service continues to attract many of the best companies among the sector’s operator and supplier companies. For less than £1,000 a year, companies can plug all their staff into very large amounts of exclusive information and videos. Later this week, for example, subscribers will be given access to all the videos from our amazing Female Leaders And Entrepreneurs Conference, which took place last month. Many thousands of people within the sector are now plugged into the service and enjoying this higher level of insight.” Current subscribers to Propel Premium Unlimited include: AB-InBev, Access Group, Airship, Anglian Country Inns, Archer Street Group, Asahi, Attensi, Azzurri Group, BDO, Beds & Bars, Bidfood, Big Table Group, Burger King UK, Bone Daddies, BrewDog, British Beer & Pub Association, Brown-Forman Brands, Britvic, Busaba, C&C Group, Cairn Hotel Group, Carlsberg, CGA Strategy, Chipotle, Christie & Co, CMS McKenna, Daniel Thwaites, Darwin & Wallace, Davis Coffer Lyons, Drink Warehouse, Double Dutch Drinks, ECE, Everards, Fells, Fourth Hospitality, Freeths, Greene King, Gusto, Harri, Heineken, JD Wetherspoon, John Gaunt, KPMG, Kraftheinz, Lavazza, Leisure TV Rights, Lightspeed, Loungers, Market Halls, Marugame Udon, Matthew Clark, MeatLiquor, Molson Coors, Oakman Inns, Paragon Group, Prezzo, Rabobank, RedCat Pub Company, Revolution Bars Group, Ritter Courivaud, Roxy Leisure, San Carlo Group, Sapient Corporate Finance, Savills, Six Company, Sky UK, Sona, SSP, Star Pubs, Stonegate, Taco Bell UK & Europe, Teneo, Tevalis, The Bread Factory (Gail’s), The DRG, The Restaurant Group, The Wolseley Hospitality Group, Toast, UKHospitality, Vapiano, Venus Wines & Spirits, WatchHouse, Wedlake Bell, Welcome Break, Wells & Co and WHSmith. ExCeL London to launch first phases of UK’s largest immersive entertainment district this summer: ExCeL London will launch the first phases of what it has said will be the UK’s largest immersive entertainment district this summer. Spanning more than 160,000 square feet once complete, Immerse LDN will showcase world-class immersive experiences and original productions across purpose-built venue spaces in the heart of London’s Royal Docks. Building on the success of ExCeL London’s previously hosted events such as Jurassic World: The Exhibition and Disney100: The Exhibition, Immerse LDN will launch with new experiences such as The FRIENDS Experience: The One In London, and The Formula 1 Exhibition. It will also have a wide variety of food and beverage offerings, beginning with street food collective Kerb and followed by a new waterside food hall and bar and café later in the year. Outlets will include established Kerb operators such as Duck Shed (wraps, salads and burgers), Masa Taqueria (tacos), Nazari (Middle Eastern cuisine) and speciality London-roasted coffee from Hej. Further experiences and hospitality offerings will follow later this year and into 2025. Damian Norman, director of immersive entertainment and events at ExCeL London, said: “ExCeL London is already synonymous as the home of world-leading events. Now we want to build on that and create a space where guests, both local and international, can enjoy the very best of immersive and experiential entertainment in one place. This project has been years in the making and a multimillion-pound investment which, once fully complete, will attract an additional 2.5 million visitors a year to the Royal Docks and will be one of the most connected entertainment districts in the world. Offering something for everyone, Immerse LDN aspires to become a destination in its own right where guests can explore experiences, enjoy food and drink with friends or embark on a family day out, all set against the striking waterfront of the Royal Docks.” The exhibition areas for Immerse LDN will be built as five “chapters” – so called as “each one will tell a different story” – with each a custom-built immersive entertainment box, “effectively a blank canvas for operators to work with”. A bridge will also be built spanning the water between ExCeL London and 20,000 new homes being built as part of the Silvertown Quays on the opposite side. Planning permission is also being sought for three floating restaurants. A new report produced by Propel on the fast-growing experiential leisure sector will be available to purchase on Thursday, 1 August. The report profiles the current shape of the experiential leisure market – including brands, estate size, trading type and geographical location and future trends. It provides a detailed list of UK experiential leisure companies including key staff and Companies House information. The report includes more than 190 companies, 3,500 sites and a 35,000-word report. Existing Premium Club members can receive the report on Thursday, 1 August for £395 plus VAT. The report will be made available for free to existing Premium members on Tuesday, 10 September at 9am. Email kai.kirkman@propelinfo.com today to order a copy.
